T-Mobile Announces Un-carrier 8.0 Event for December 16

T-Mobile has announced it will hold its Un-carrier 8.0 event on December 16 where it will continue to "rewrite the rules of wireless."

Un-carrier 8.0 will kick off at 10:30 am Eastern Time (7:30 a.m. Pacific Time). You can watch a live webcast here, beginning Tuesday morning.

T-Mobile's Un-carrier initiative first started with the ability to upgrade your device through the JUMP program and removing 2-year agreements. Later Un-carrier events announced simplified plans, removed international roaming fees, agreed to pay customers' ETFs if they switched, an iPhone 5s test drive program, rolled out a streaming music service for customers, and finally bringing an improved network with VoLTE, wideband LTE and Wi-Fi calling.
