Bose Reportedly Working on Launching Its Own Music Streaming Service

Bose is reportedly "moving quickly" to build and launch its own “next generation streaming music platform." A job listing for a Senior User Experience Designer of Cloud Music Services hints that the company is planning to move fast to launch the service.

Bose claims the ideal candidate would have worked at Apple's Beats Music, Pandora, Spotify, Apple, Google Play, and other music streaming services. The company could integrate its music streaming service with their own audio hardware and products; however, it faces steep competition from the many established services.

Earlier this year, Apple pulled Bose products from its store, but since then the company has made those products available for sale again. Nevertheless, it will be interesting to see how Beats and Bose continue to compete, considering their recent litigation.
