Apple Releases iOS 26 Beta 2 and iPadOS 26 Beta 2 [Download]

Apple has released iOS 26 beta 2 and iPadOS 26 beta 2 to developers for testing. This follows the release of an updated beta 1 build ten days ago.

iOS beta gives you an early preview of upcoming apps, features, and technologies. Please back up your iPhone before you install the beta.

What's New in This Beta

● Control center has been updated with a stronger background blur to significantly improve separation from the underlying content.
● A new recovery assistant has been added. Recovery Assistant is a new way to recover your device if it doesn't start up normally. It can look for problems and attempt to resolve them if found.

Developers can download the new build at the link below. Alternatively, you can visit the Settings > General > Software Update page and choose iOS 26 Developer Beta from the Beta Updates row. Hopefully this beta will be a bit less buggy than the first. Either way, we recommend installing it on device dedicated to development.
