iOS 7 is set for release today and this is a reminder to everyone to save your SHSH blobs!
While SHSH blobs are currently of little use to those with A5+ devices, a future exploit might make them important so we suggest you grab them using one of methods linked below.
If you have an older device such as an iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, or iPod touch 4G, it's even more important that you save your blobs so you have the option to downgrade in the future.

How to backup SHSH blobs for iPhone 5s ios 8.1.2,
Win 64 bit 8.1,
-TinyUmbrella Does not work, problems with Java,
-iFaith is unsupported.

Yes, you will need to. All devices since the iPhone 3GS use the SHSH blob authentication from Apple.
