Check out these purported iPad Air 2 photos posted by ascii.jp. The images show what is likely a physical mockup of the upcoming iPad Air 2 compared to the current generation iPad Air.
You'll notice that the iPad Air 2 features Touch ID fingerprint recognition, as rumored. It also is missing the mute/silent switch and has volume buttons that are slightly indented into the side of the device.
The changes are similar to those shown by another set of images that were published last month.
Apple is expected to update the iPad Air and the iPad mini later this year. Please follow iClarified on Twitter, Facebook, or RSS for the latest!

There's no mute switch because it hasn't been fitted yet.

Use a 9.7 inch phone, yes with Bluetooth headset or cable headset. The iPhone and Samsung regular size ear friendly and hand palm friendly phones are just fine.

Touch id on an iPad is useless but its probably the next step in the iPad lifecycle.

Not really, it's the extra step of security. It's the only reason why I'm waiting for this upcoming iPad than getting the one right now.

No mute switch? That's the final proof: Apple copies EVERYTHING from that other company... what was the name again??
