New Video Compares Alleged iPhone 7 vs iPhone 6s [Watch]

Posted July 17, 2016 at 2:37pm by iClarified
Check out this new video which offers a side by side comparison of the alleged iPhone 7 and the iPhone 6s.

Posted to Weibo earlier today, the video takes a closer look at the many of the features we've been seeing in leaks over the past couple months.

The purported iPhone 7 is very similar in size to the iPhone 6s with simplified antenna bands. It has a larger camera and the back casing has been extruded slightly to form the opening. At the bottom of the device there are two speakers for stereo audio and no headphone jack.

Leaks coming out of China have been consistently showing this design for quite a while now. As production of the Apple's next generation smartphone gets underway, it appear more and more likely that this will be the final design of the device.

Would you be happy if this was the new iPhone? Take a look at the video below and let us know what you think in the comments!

This sucks. I know there basically no other change or form that they can make the iPhone 7 look except moving the antenna, but at least they better make it up on a power mail camera and other areas cause better battery and faster is a giving. They can't try to sale bigger and long battery life or faster cause it SHOULDER be doing that compared to their previous iPhone.

To give greater emphasis on faster, battery, and camera, of course it will be faster as usual, but hey maybe extra ram again! I don't think the camera looks bad but at least it roughly protrudes, as for the battery, the capacity is going to increase by 14% which could be for all models, but moreover on design, it's being held off until next year because that's iPhone's 10th anniversary which means a major design change. Finally, shoulder?!

The guy specifically stated that this wasn't the actual phone but that it was created from the same mold. It's essentially an empty shell mock-up, probably distributed to case or other accessory makers.

That's the knockoff version they always come out before the original look at the iOS icons the housing to the iPhone 6s don't have that finishing look.

The phone isn't real. It's a dummy phone made for case makers. Like all the phones you see on display at Walmart or Best Buy.

How did they activate it I wonder. Its obviously past the first boot screen and activated. I wouldn't think apple would let that happen very easily. Not to mention I would think they would be able to find it pretty easily too. Kinda of suspoect I would think.

It's probably just printed onto it because we all know iPhones that are fully functional come by September.

It's a dummy phone given to case makers. So that they have something to use to mock up cases and have them ready by the time the actual phone is released. And for display ads for their websites.

I'll pass! I currently have the iphone 6. I did not buy the 6S and I wont get the 7 for the exact same reason! No change or benefits from switching other than saying is the latest. The improvements made are no game changing or something that makes someone want to switch. Apple will definitely start to loose its position if it keep going like this! Same with the MacBook Pro, even HP is over it right know with its latest notebook and Apple is taking forever to release the updated machine. Its been more than 425 days since it updated it and still there's no update on when the new rumored device its going to be released.

Are you kidding with this? Apple is actually doing okay even in the MacBook lineup. The if there is anything the least the 6s did, it did actually expand on features game makers can do with 3D Touch. I'd say there's a decent change with the 6s. As for the MacBook Pro, there's OS X or the now named macOS for crying out loud. When it comes to extra power especially to iOS, that's when a whole new OS version takes advantage of it.

I switched to Samsung S7 its because of the boredom I had with Apple. I love iOS but it seems they had been playing safe and slow progress with their updates. They are definitely due for new design.

We don't get as much of a huge upgrade when it comes to the s versions but it's still trying in some ways, but I wouldn't say it's slow paced, but they still are trying and I think they're doing great, but if anything, I'd say some competitors is what is being slow with what they are doing especially when it comes to knockoffs of what Apple just made even if it's better than its source (which I doubt it).

New design will be held off until next year. It's roughly the same because the iPhones 10th anniversary is coming which is supposed to make a major design change.

Can they at least bring back gun metal grey or space grey. Even the black iPhone I'll take. They need improve something cause it's basically the same phone. They might try to sale us on the camera. Cause battery life and faster phone should be a given when comparing to and older previous model.
