Obama Mocks Samsung Over Exploding Galaxy Note 7 [Video]

U.S. President Barack Obama made fun of Samsung and its Galaxy Note 7 that catches fire during a recent speech.

Speaking at Miami Dade collage in Florida on the Affordable Care Act, Obama likened issues with Obamacare to new smartphones hitting the market.

When one of these companies comes out with a new smartphone, and it has a few bugs, what do they do? They fix it, they upgrade. Unless it catches fire and then they just, then they pull it off the market.

But you don't go back to using a rotary phone! You don't say, well we're repealing smartphones — we're just gonna do the dial-up thing

Why? Obamacare js working for many poorer people who had no insurance. Only the richer folks think that it is crap.

This is awful. President Obama's comment weren't really about Samsung. They were simply a swipe at the Republican Congress. It's the old adage "never let an opportunity go to waste," a philosophy championed by his administration. He simply didn't care about any collateral damage to Samsung's badly tarnished reputation. This in spite of the fact that Samsung is a very important player in the world economy and the most important player in South Korea's economy, a critical ally in that part of the world. If this is what passes as 'acting presidential' in this day and age, may God have mercy on our souls.

lol that was funny. He is just making a comparison that will make sense to the now generation. Funny how we all makes jokes about the Note 7 and it's funny. There are memes all over Twitter. The president makes a joke and all of a sudden some jump on it as wrong smh.
