Apple Sends Invites to March 2nd Special Event [iPad 2]

Apple has sent invites to members of the press inviting them to a special event on March 2nd in San Francisco where the company will likely announce the iPad 2, according to the The Loop.

The event will be held at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts at 10:00 am. This is the same venue Apple has used to introduce a number of products in recent years.
