As far a I'm aware ANY app can access photos without permission, but they have to ask of they want the location data from the photos.
Sounds reas

Not all apps say the part about accessing photos when requesting to use location services though. Apple Store app says something completely different. "When this app is open, location services will be used to identify nearby Apple retail stores and to offer additional services available when in store." Does that mean only apps which mention photos, can access your photos? That seems to be what this article is saying, however it's not entirely clear.

"Furthermore, if you trust an app with your location, its likely that you would trust it with your photos as well".
What kind of FUCKING RETARDED logic is that?

Seriously, just because I want someone to know I'm at McDonalds does NOT necessarily mean I want them to have pictures of my family, my car, my house, and my possessions.

Dv. Your statement is made as if you have some deeper understanding that the rest of are not privileged to. Traditionally, the reason for this is either because you know something we don't or because we lack the capacity to reach your level of understanding. However, my theory is that you want people to ask you "Why DV? What don't I understand" so that you can impart a portion of your infinite wisdom and show everyone the beacon of light that we all strive for. Or better yet, people to be left wondering, "wow, that is a smart guy, he knows something that I don't". In fact, you do nothing but spread conjecture and cause fragile minds to doubt themselves. The statement is pretty easy reading, you dumb prick.
