Apple will roll out new video iAds this year that automatically play full-screen, according to AdAge sources. Currently you need to tap an iAd to launch any video content.
The people described these new video ads as "interstitials," suggesting that they'll interrupt whatever someone is doing in app. More likely the ads will play at moments of transition, like after completing a game's level or finishing an article.
It's not known how much Apple will sell these video iAd units for; however, it's possible that they could sell them through a new ad exchange which it apparently launched a couple weeks ago.

More invasive ads? That sucks. Proves that these companies don't give a damn about the people.

And when was the last time apple didn't care about what users wanted or made ads like any other jealous companies did?
