Samsung has posted a series of new videos touting the features of the Galaxy S5 over the iPhone 5s.

Take a look below...

Full HD Display
The Galaxy S5 5.1-inch display has 62% more screen area than the iPhone 5s.

Focus Features
The Galaxy S 5 is equipped with Phase Detection Auto Focus, a technology usually found in DSLR cameras. This feature helps you capture photos with amazing clarity and detail, and Selective Focus lets you choose your focus and depth of field even after the picture is taken.

Ultra Power Saving Mode
With Ultra Power Saving Mode, the Galaxy S 5 is built to come through in the clutch. Even with 10% percent battery, The Next Big Thing still has 24 hours of calling and texting in the bank.

S Health
The Galaxy S 5 helps you set goals and track your progress with S Health and a built-in pedometer. And, with the world's first ever built-in heart rate monitor on a smartphone, checking your beats-per-minute is as simple as touching the back of your device.

Water Resistance
Luckily the Galaxy S 5 is water resistant so you can take it wherever you go.

Wow, better camera with awesome detail, what about saving memory from all the pictures taken? My 5s doesn't need any more mp's than it already has enough to save much more, as for s health I have an app for that and the trick is to use the flash. Well done again shamesung. Running out of backups for life support. Big screen is now coming here for iFans, what hopes do you have left.

Wow13 - May 3, 2014 at 7:52am

do you need more space in your S5 for those better pictures? get a 64GB MicroSD for less then 40$.

gamerscul9870 - May 3, 2014 at 11:51am

Why have more when it I'd enough. Compare how much memory is left after 100 pictures on both 16gb phones, oh wait, the picture "how much space does your smartphone really have" says galaxy has half the memory of it's actual storage, still not being tricked into it.

DarkSide - May 3, 2014 at 1:54pm

Is that the best defense you have? Besides having the ability to add a micro SD card to store pictures and having pictures automatically backup to a cloud service why would anyone need to carry all or a big chunk of their pictures on their phone?

DarkSide - May 4, 2014 at 3:51am

Again with the useless comments.

Povilas - May 2, 2014 at 10:54am

bigger but not better... sorry smasus fanboys, nothing new... still not convinced to buy a samsung...

gamerscul9870 - May 2, 2014 at 11:04am

It gets better for us and why? The bigger it is the harder it falls.

Povilas - May 2, 2014 at 11:08am

its not just size bet os its using never was good never will be...

gamerscul9870 - May 2, 2014 at 11:10am

That's how I got the name. I actually used it once, thank god though I didn't actually buy a product with it, that was the time I tried it to see for myself. The truth speaks itself clear crisp.

How is 5.5 60% more then 4.0

Guest - May 2, 2014 at 8:02am

I want a big screen, oh wait, "I doesn't fit my pants" I want a finger security, oh wait, "I doesn't work unless my finger is directly aligned with the phone" I want water proof, oh wait " it freakings overheats when I use it as a gps and melts my sim car" I want the next big thing! Oh wait, it slows down so bad during updates, I can't use it till I kill all the apps! Okay I really want the next big thing, damn I had to return it twice due to hardware failure! Lucky me it failed within 14 days, whewww

gamerscul9870 - May 2, 2014 at 11:12am

Not to mention the camera that actually stretches its pictures out and doesn't fit the frame.

Mike Power - May 1, 2014 at 8:59pm

I just wish my so call apple iphone would do all those things, or at least try.

gamerscul9870 - May 1, 2014 at 9:23pm

That was granted long ago before I started thinking of things just to keep me alive every time this so called corporation just takes them.

Mike Power - May 1, 2014 at 8:56pm

everything apple dreams about and cannot accomplish.

gamerscul9870 - May 1, 2014 at 9:22pm

Like what, act like a wannabe like me, you have jailbreaking to do anything I do, that's exactly I am not wanted.

Wow13 - May 1, 2014 at 10:39am

They are just telling the truth :)

gamerscul9870 - May 1, 2014 at 10:44am

The wannabe truth after being jealous over a real jd power winner and you still have hopes. Does big ass screen for a phone even serve a purpose if we have tablets for two simple different sizes, not one? It's like trying to turn your phone into a computer and microjunk may already be on that idea, sure let's just hook up a keyboard and glue the phone to it, bam a mini computer.

vernon123 - May 1, 2014 at 7:58am

the next big thing is here.Literally. i wonder how much larger can they make a phone every time.i watch movies on a 27 inch screen and browse the web.

gamerscul9870 - May 1, 2014 at 10:07am

Just wait until they release one as big as a universe aka the s100, you'll be buying in no time. lol

vernon gregory saldanha - May 1, 2014 at 7:30am

LOl omg true cinema quality experience on 5.5 inches! are you serious?do they have surround sound too? and everyone knows the amoled display just saves battery, color reproduction is not very accurate like the retina display

Wow13 - May 1, 2014 at 10:33am

You are wrong on the Display (referenced from DisplayMate) and also on the surround sound :) thanks to group play.

Albert - May 1, 2014 at 5:14am

Have you guys realize they had never mentioned their Fingerprint scanner? Because that thing is so badly made that they have to rely on other things that can be done by Apple with simple hardware and software, all this ad are saying "buy me buy me look what i have better than Apple, buy me please, pleeeease! LOL!

Vueapp - April 30, 2014 at 9:54pm

Hey apple. I want the big screen and water resistance. Don't be afraid of being called a copier. I want a better iPhone.

Biggun - April 30, 2014 at 7:11pm

So does this mean that when apple releases the larger iphones (copying samsung) you will no longer buy them? Or are you just talking for the sake of talking?

Repeat - April 30, 2014 at 6:52pm

They keep repeating the same thing : " the next big thing is here "

gamerscul9870 - April 30, 2014 at 7:07pm

Forgot to mention "after apple makes"

Ken - April 30, 2014 at 10:04pm

They should say "the next bigger thing is here."

Jack Bishop - April 30, 2014 at 6:29pm

The only cool thing is the water resistance lol.

samesung - April 30, 2014 at 6:28pm

you know that samesung has no innnovation? to do all these things even the iphone can do it by implementing a software. so theres no real competitions with their products.

Nitro Junkie - April 30, 2014 at 5:57pm

You know what's funny. I bet that the girl in the video uses an iPhone when she's not making Samsung commercials.

JamesHoyland23 - April 30, 2014 at 5:35pm

I prefer apple iOS devices than SG S5.
