More holes heh. He wanted Apple to patch the 'only' hole beforehand so that only he knew of these other two holes. It's like he wants to be the 'last' and 'only' hope for the unlocking and jailbreaking of the iPhones and using laziness as an excuse to sit out for now. Pffft, Dev-Team all the wayyy (:

I never used it but it all sounded incomplete...cydia with no winterboard? So I waited for the slow but complete dev team. Im so glad I did.

Ricekake, you are an idiot. Purplera1n worked great. Winterboard works fine as does cydia. Everything worked the same. The winterboard not working at first was a problem with winterboard no the jailbreak. Know what you're talking about before posting retarded comments. He doesn't need to make a jailbreak with 3.1 just around the corner.

Madcow, when you say Purplera1n worked, do you mean on the 3.0 or the 3.0.1 os?

Umm...as I recall, the dev-team also released a jailbreak for 3.0. So what is your point in blaming him? I don't dislike any of the sides. But I kinda like GeoHotz side of things and his attitude. Sometimes you have to do your own damn thing. Can't blame the guy. Big ups to both sides, because without them, we probably wouldn't have jailbreaken phones. ;)

Promo I was referring to 3.0 ricekake, I've seen a lot of people saying (mistakingly too) that purplera1n and winterboard don't work when they clearly do. Winterboard was updated to work with 3.0 the within hours prior to redsn0w being released. So many people mistook redsn0w for fixing winterboard when that is not the case. It's a flawless execution. It's sad to me that people will read your comment and take it for it's full value thinking it's flawed. It takes credit away from geohot when he clearly deserves a lot more.

i don't really understand you guys fighting over little things. as we all know that whoever jailbreak and unlock the iphone knows what is best and i am sure they do the very best and fix everythings when there is bugs. so guys instead of all these talk why not give them a BIG THANX and not fill up with all silly talk and let ppls see what have to be done in order to fix the bugs. sorry guys if i am kinda of rude here but i am very thankful to everyone who make all these happen. Thanx again guys keep up the good works.
