The Apple Store in Tokyo's Ginza district was closed down yesterday after receiving a bomb threat, reports the Japan Times.

The store was preparing for an event at 2 p.m. which featured film director Isao Yukisada. At around 11 a.m. they received a handwritten anonymous letter threatening to blow it up unless the event was canceled.

Upon reading the letter, the store suspended operations for about an hour and the event was called off. Officers from the Tsukiji Police Station searched the location but found no suspicious objects.

Police are investigating the incident as a case of alleged forcible obstruction of business.

I'm one of those people who cares and would feel the need to clean up a city. I'd do it because it's right.
