Apple is set to launch three new Macs between late spring and summer this year, reports Mark Gurman in his latest PowerOn newsletter.

As previously rumored, these will likely be an updated 13-inch MacBook Air, a new 15-inch MacBook Air, and the long awaited Mac Pro.

Aside from the iMac, Apple is scheduled to launch about three new Macs between late spring and summer, I'm told. Those three models are likely to be the first 15-inch MacBook Air (codenamed J515), the first Mac Pro with homegrown Apple chips (J180) and an update to the 13-inch MacBook Air (J513).

The new MacBook Air may feature a M3 processor built on TSMC's 3nm process; however, the new Mac Pro is still expected to use the same M2 Ultra chip found in the Mac Studio. Unfortunately, the desktop is no longer rumored to offer a high-end configuration or upgradeable RAM.

Apple could unveil the M3 chip and the new MacBook Airs at its Worldwide Developers Conference
(WWDC) in June, putting its M-series processors on a one year release schedule. Gurman expects an M3 iMac to follow later in the year and M3 Pro/Max MacBook Pros to arrive in 2024.
