If this is the same material as the one used in automotive applications than I would highly suggest you do NOT use this. This material WILL yellow over time. I've seen it on cars and also seen it in person on someone's iPhone If it's adhesive properties are the same as the auto. equivalent, you will need to heat the material BEFORE trying to remove it. I have seen instances on cars where removal of this product will actually rip off the paint. Obviously the iPhone does not have paint, but the bonding would be the same. And in all honesty, I've had several cases, skins for the iPhone and they usually do more damage than protection. The iPhone's aluminum back is very resistant to light scratches. It's when dirt, sand or something else gets stuck between the case and iPhone that you get scratches. The screen is great...it's glass and does NOT scratch easily. The worst area of this phone is the chrome bezel which you will scuff and scratch unless you use a skin.
