PC World has printed an article outlining the 10 things they think is missing from the 3G iPhone.
Heres what they would still like to see in the iPhone:
1. Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) 2. Stereo Bluetooth/A2DP support 3. Selecting, copying, and pasting text 4. Horizontal keyboard for e-mail and notes 5. Improved predictive text (or the ability to turn it off) 6. Integrated IM application 7. Flash support 8. A better camera and a camcorder 9. Unified e-mail inbox 10. Voice dialing and voice memos
I sort of agree.. I'd rather have auto focus added to the camera. A VGA video call camera. AND two stereo speakers. Why should Nokia have that and this, no.. Why Not a GPU for 100 plus FPS video recording at a minimum of VGA resolution. I'm not sure what to buy now. A Nokia n82 black with a sandisk 16GB card whenever it's out or a 95 8GB. But no way iPhone again. Excuse me this Mr. Jobs.
Peace
Timothy R. In Dubai for now. (lovin 3.5G here & video calls)!
The 4 things that are -actually- missing, the others would be pointless features more likely to annoy rather than anything else.
1. Selecting, copying, and pasting text
2. Horizontal keyboard for e-mail and notes
3. Flash support
4. A better camera and a camcorder
I Think they are right about what its missed, plus it wont be high cost to implement it. For the price of an Iphone you must be encouraged to ask for more, it is the good thing about this phone, it can be upgraded.
pssstt... bangel.....
I'm not 100% sure, but i think the option to turn it off is only in the jailbroken/patched iPhone, not in the officially available iPhone software, so it's not as stupid as you might think ;)
I've learned to trust the predictive text now, so for me it's not that big of a deal, but i can imagine other people would rather turn it off
Well... if that's the 10 most important things that are missing, i don't miss a thing! (come on... mms?? finally we've got desktop class emailing on a phone and people start asking what happened to mms...)
there are really enough im/voice memo possibilities now ... for what do they need that built in? I think the only area where flash support on mobiles (especially on the iphone) makes sense is video, and that's probably what most people mean when they say flash support, not realizing how many annoying ads and other annoyances flash support would entail.
