Ali: It means that you're in a country where iPhone apps can't be installed. The only way to fix this problem is to move to a different country where they can be installed. :)

Hi. I have an iphone+a Windows Vista computer. I have never had any problems buying anything from iTunes, but since I updated my iPod to the 2.0 software, it is not letting me download any apps and keeps saying cannot process the request, error code 1009. What does this mean? What am I doing wrong? I want to buy some apps and it is not letting me. It gives me the same problem on the app store application on the iphone also. Help please!

To fix iTunes error (-1009) on your iPod Touch:
1. Go to settings
2. Click on Clear Cache
3. Click on Clear Cookies
4. (optional) Clear History
5. Try the iTunes Store or Application Store again

No, you don't need to sign into facebook each time..
However, I wish to know how I can uninstall applications from my 2G iPhone 2.0 firmware. Will simply pressing the X beside the icon when it wiggles do the job?
I've read several posts about it syncing back from iTunes.
What am I supposed to do?
