Screenshots of a Nike+ application for the iPhone have been leaked online to iPhon.fr. The site notes that the application is not quite ready; however, it is definitely coming.
The Nike+iPod Sports Kit is a device which measures and records the distance and pace of a walk or run. The Nike+iPod consists of a small accelerometer attached to or embedded in a shoe, which communicates with either the Nike+ Sportband or (for now....) a receiver plugged into an iPod nano. If using the iPod, iTunes software can be used to view the walk or run history.
I just *LOVE* this. I would buy new shoes to get the software, if I can transfer the plot of my exercises, and match the heartbeat, speed to a location, and time since start. I could sync my playlist accordingly to get a boost, and see where I'm struggling the most. I hope they are thinking at exporting the GPS location and including heart monitor. That would be the bomb.... Nike? I sure wouldn't mind beta testing! ;-)
