Well It seems that iam not alone in pointing out the PITYFULL facilities on their 3g software release
I read somewhere that there were hoping to register their product under Apple´s App Strore in its present form - the software is neigh-on USELESS
DREAMCATCHER MUST DO MUCH BETTER
PS there is software out ther that alows the video file transfer to a PC without e-mailing - I used it on a 2G 1.XXX phonne - any suggestions whats best to use
Avoid this software in its current 3g config
I had it in the 2g ver and you could e-mail the video files etc all you can do with the 3g release is send them to a You-Tube account USELESS
i have contacted them and they admit this is a "weakness" with this release ALTHOUGH they dont mention it clearly in their homepage
It would have been far better id they hadnt released a 3G version unless it had the minimal facilities as did its predecessor
shame as its i nice simple product but BEWARE in its present release as at
october 2008
Jeez...I forgot that one when I wrote to their support people. They do say that you can email your videos...but it IS MISSING from the menu.
They responded regarding their sync program not working with..."Thank you very much for your interest in our app. This issue will be fixed in the next upgrade." They responded quickly to my first email.
I wrote them to find out when their next upgrade would be...but it's been a few days now and I haven't heard back from them. I'll post it here if I find out, and question them about the email issue.
hmm I had this on 1.1.4... and even went back after upgrading to 2.x..
only thing is... when I attempt to 'share' a video... I am only presented with the option to upload it to youtube... I do not see the option to send it out by mail in the 3g version... is it just me or.... ?
Works like a charm on my iPhone 3G 16GB...but can't get their syncing software for Mac to work at all. It recognized the phone, but doesn't show any of the videos on it. Contacted them and they said they'll check into it.
Why sell the program with a sync that doesn't work?
Cycorder from Saurik is free yet but doesn't record sound. Only records video and nothing else, that's it, you can't do anything with the recorded file.
But he said he'll release an update with more features inc. sound. I'd rather wait for Cycorder
thank you as iPhone has no copy and paste will have to jot that link down the only workaround I have is with winpwn and set partition to 1000 mb but I am on 2.0.2 so I need winpwn 2.5 for disc partition cos quickpwn does not do it thanks again
I had similar problems but found out that Cydia is NOT to blame. The problem has to do with an antiquated watchdog that Apple hasn't updated since adding official support for apps. Here's an explanation and workaround.
