There is also emphasis on graphics-oriented applications with high-definition assets, which appears to be in line with the new iPad featuring a 'Retina' display.
Apps that impress Apple are being forward to advertising partner TWBA/Chiat/Day for possible inclusion in the initial iPad 3 commercials. The deadline for those ads to be finalized and delivered is rapidly approaching.
Apple is expected to hold its iPad 3 unveiling event during the first week of March. Prior consensus was that it would feature a Retina Display, LTE, and a quad-core A6 processor; however, a recent Verge report predicts a dual-core processor.
