Pangea Software has released Nanosaur 2 for iPhone in what they call the most advanced 3D game yet for the iPhone.

In Nanosaur 2 you pilot a flying dinosaur from the future who is equipped with massive firepower! Your goal is to find and retrieve the missing dinosaur eggs, and to do that you'll have to blow up a whole lotta stuff! You'll battle other Nanosaurs and their defense systems, and collect powerups which give you a large array of weaponry ranging from heat seeking missiles to cluster bombs.

If you like flying, you like dinosaurs, and you like to make things go Boom! then Nanosaur 2 is the game for you!

Steve, you're getting file size confused with memory requirements. I have no idea what SMB or Raging Thunder's memory requirements are, but it has nothing to do with file size, and I suspect they're nowhere near what Nanosaur 2 needs. The original Nanosaur 2 game on the Mac requires 512MB of RAM, so we had to squeeze it down to 128MB with only around 50MB of it free at any given time. The game generally uses 47MB of that free 50MB, so it doesn't take much to push it over the edge. You can see this simply by checking the crash log that gets saved on the iPhone. If the crash error is 101 then that means the OS ran out of RAM and forced the app to shut down.

played loads of large apps and they never crash monkey ball never crashed that's 89 mb raging thunder that's never crashed

Steve, you apparently haven't been paying much attention to the iPhone app situation, but no it is *not* our fault that the apps crash. The apps are fine. What happens is that the longer you user your iPhone the more RAM gets either leaked or gobbled up by the various apps running in the background (ie. Safari and Mail). So, after a while there isn't enough RAM for our large games to run in a stable environment so they crash. The solution is simple: reboot your iPhone to free up the leaked memory. You seem to think it is only our games that do this, but that is far far from the truth. Pretty much every app will eventually do this, it's just a matter of how much RAM they need. Our apps need lots of RAM so they'll crash first, but I've even had small apps like iBeer crash on me. As a general rule you have to reboot your iPhone about once a day and at least once every 4 days if you plan on running large apps like ours. So, rather than me growing a spin as you put it, I suggest you grow a brain. If you have issues in the future may I recommend that you contact our support department before posting BS comments like you did.

crashes all the time and they blame phone its there application come on grow a spine pangea people wont put up with all these crashing apps that are getting apple aproval
