Boinx Software today introduced BoinxTV 1.1, an update to its live-video production software that turns a Mac into a TV studio. BoinxTV 1.1 improves the stability and is strongly recommended for all BoinxTV users. BoinxTV 1.1 comes with additional layers and a new template for a shopping channel. The previous demo period has been extended from 5 to 30 days, giving users more time to explore all the fascinating possibilities of BoinxTV to create great looking shows.

"Rock solid stability is most critical for any BoinxTV user, so we have spent the time since the launch of the application three weeks ago improving the memory management and ironing out the few glitches customers experienced in 1.0," says Oliver Breidenbach, CEO of Boinx Software. "We also realized that people needed more time to properly evaluate BoinxTV. They should have the chance to prepare, produce and distribute a real show made with BoinxTV before purchasing. So we have extended the free trial period to 30 days."

"One of the greatest features of BoinxTV is that it can be extensively customized to your needs," says Florian Albrecht, head of product marketing of Boinx Software. "BoinxTV now ships with nearly 40 different layers that can be combined, and every single one can be customized to give your show your own look. But that's not all - the extensible architecture of BoinxTV allows you to design your own layers using Quartz Composer from Apple."

BoinxTV version 1.1 introduces new layers: Use "Sidebar Ad" to slide, wipe or fade in an advertisement from an edge of the screen. "Sparkling Text" animates a line of text using an impressive particle animation. Many of the existing layers were improved. "Static Text" for example now features transitions. A new example template called "MyShop" showcases some of the new features introduced in a shopping channel environment.

BoinxTV is a revolutionary tool for creating live-to-air, live-to-tape and live-on-stage video, jointly developed by Boinx Software and TheCodingMonkeys. Create stunning studio shows, podcasts, sports events, concerts, interviews, sermons, lectures, seminars and more using your Mac and multiple cameras. With its innovative user interface and its extensible architecture, BoinxTV makes it easy to create professional 'TV style' shows, minimizing post-production time.

Availability and Pricing:
BoinxTV is available immediately for download at boinx.com/download. A free demo license enables BoinxTV for 30 days. The single license of BoinxTV is available for $499 (USD) at the Boinx Kagi Store.
