How Your Phone Gets Stolen on the Subway [Video]

Check out this video posted on YouTube (via Reddit) of a thief stealing a phone on the subway in Hungary.

According to the article in HVG the guy (28 old) was recognized by the police before the video became viral as he is a well known prior offender. He got arrested today at 2 AM local time at his girlfriend's flat.

This serves as a reminder to stay aware of your surroundings when on your iPhone, iPad. Even holding an Apple bag can make you the target of thieves.

Youre absolutely right there King, please don't listen to detractors. What you have said is absolutely correct. Oh to the others, there are better things to do than Facebook and Twitter. I have both, but don't do anything much with them. You are correct to say the things about Samsung and Nokia. The moment I received my Apple IPhone 2G, me a Nokia supporter, just stopped. I had the Nokia 6210, E65, N9500, I also had Ericcson T68, T66, T39mc. After my iPhone 2G, ive gotten the iPhone 3GS now with my mum, I have iPhone 4S. There are sooooooo great.

In some country's the judicial system of that country actually do this as punishment to thieves.

thanks to this video went viral the robber was caught today. He has been arrested several times and convicted before and hopefully will be this time again.

He was doped up probably heroin which is why they were probably recording laughing at him falling asleep. He probably stole it for money for more dope

That really sucks.... I feel so bad for her, but she should know not to take out the phone, because this will happen. Statistics show that the number one thing of the most stolen item are Apple products. It's sad that we can not enjoy our lives anymore. Though in other thoughts, I would bet that this was recorded on an Android Samsung Galaxy S-3.
