RiP Dev has released the final version of Installer 4.0 for jailbroken iPhones and iPod touches.
It's been a while and we're proud to announce the immediate availability of Installer 4.0.
Since its last public beta, it has come underway a significant change -- for starters, we have added Greek, Russian and Ukranian localizations, redone the interface for speed, fixed a bunch of bugs and made it so it can bear the tag "4.0". And yes, we're proud of what we have done -- largely with your feedback.
This doesn't ends the evolution of Installer -- actually, this actually begins the road of improvements we have planned, so... stay tuned.

Does anybody look the repositories now inside? Bigboss supports fully with all themes, plus with PseudoSubstrate there is no need for the buggy (with crappy safemode) mobilesubstrate. For example take a look at my repository "i.myi.gr" and find out what is generaly ported! Don't forget that the thirdparty distribution of applications started with Installer, and it's smaller, now faster, easier, plus it doesn't install daemons to run in the background to hog to your ram like leeches without the extra 60megs of crapy bsd code.. Plus cydia nowdays, only has themes and sounds and stuff, no apps.. it's time to get to the other side.. "the dark side"

Who? Installer? Oh yeah that old crusty thingy that used to be the best but now nobody needs it since Cydia is here.

as i said a long ago, Installer IS DEAD. For a while now, it still buggy, SLOW nad 90% of good apps moved to Cydia.
So no news about it ...
