Orbicule has released Undercover 3.0 an update to their unique theft-recovery application for Mac OS X.
Undercover uses advanced technology to locate your Mac based on Wi-Fi positioning and transmits network information to accurately track and locate your stolen Mac within a range of 10-20 meters.
The landmark feature of Undercover 3 is of course the Skyhook Wireless integration. It is the same technology that powers location tracking on the iPhone and the iPod Touch. Thanks to Skyhook technology, Undercover 3 can now locate your stolen Mac within a range of 10-20 meters (about 30-60 feet). Having immediate access to your Mac's location will enable our recovery center to provide the police with more details about the stolen machine. In addition, the entire process will be much faster too. There will be no more need to work with the ISP.
When or if your Mac ever is stolen, Undercover will send screenshots of your stolen Mac at regular intervals. Also in addition to the Undercover 3.0, if your Mac comes with a built-in iSight, photos will be transmitted of the thief and surroundings every 6 minutes. Giving law enforcement an upper hand in recovering your Mac.
Undercover licenses: Student license $39.00 Single user license $49.00 Household license $59.00 Site license $249.00

I have Undercover and it is definitely worth buying, if u thought tracking ur lost computer was impossible, think again. But ur Mac can only be recovered if it is registered.
