Saurik has announced that a Cydia Store for jailbroken iPhones will be launched tomorrow.
The official announcement of the Cydia Store was made at 360|iDev, complete with demo of social packaging: comments via Facebook Connect!
The Cydia Store is about providing a simpler billing channel to buy the already commercial applications in Cydia, like Snapture.
With many iPhone applications being rejected by Apple's approval process, developers are searching for an alternative way to distribute their paid applications. Cydia Store will provide these developers and their customers with a viable solution.

I feel like this goes against the whole principle of jailbreaking, but at least one positive thing might be assurances that the developers of the pay to have apps on cydia already will be more accountable. I'm talking to you irealsms!!! Some devs sell their app and then charge for upgrades or even just stop work and leave you with a useless out of date app.
At least now maybe there will be guarantees and professional business steps taken.
I will probably pay for some apps. Like a real reliable fast response sms app, but some i just download to play with and would never pay to try.
This could stifle or flourish creativity, hopefully they all aren't in it for the money.
So now it starts why would i jailbreak my phone to PAY for apps when i can do that on App store..a good thing was going now it will be spoilt by greed!!!!!
