AT&T may drop the price of the entry iPhone service plan by $10 when the new iPhone debuts next month, according to TheStreet.com

There is a "strong possibility" that AT&T will drop the entry-level price to $59 from $69, says Cote Collaborative analyst Michael Cote, an industry pricing strategist. The price of the phone itself is going to be too high. I dont know if dropping $10 on the lowest monthly plan will do. They need to be a little more creative than that. Blackberry phones rock and their plans arent too bad especially when you can shop around with all the providers and make your final decision.

Good start but it will take a lot more to win over me. No problem if I had an nice expense account. Adding data and sms plans (who what an iPhone without 'em :)) and this is still terribly expensive for a personal budget.
