An ex-employee of Global Wireless, a new wireless carrier set to launch in Canada, has leaked rate plan prices and handset information to the BoyGeniusReport.

The new carrier is set to launch in every province but Quebec by the fourth quarter of this year. If the information below is correct Canada could finally see some competition in the wireless sector; hopefully forcing Rogers (Fido) and other carriers to lower their prices to reasonable levels.

* Sony Ericsson TM506
o 7.2Mbps HSDPA clamshell. $29.99 on 24-month, $99.99 on 12-month and $199.99 monthly / pre-paid. Available in green, silver and red.
* Nokia 5330 XpressMusic
o 384Kbps UMTS candybar. $59.99 on 24-month, $109.99 on 12-month and $207.79 monthly / pre-paid. Available in black and red.

woww, these plan look very competitive, i wish the best for these company, at least they gonna release us from those stupid fido and rogers. what is coo, id fido owned by rogers and fido plan are missing lot of features that rogers have. luck me i was on city fido grandfathered plan otherwise i will never get into these 2 thieves.
