You Can Bend an iPhone 6 Plus With Your Bare Hands! [Video]

Earlier today we warned users that the iPhone 6 could bend in your pocket. Adding credibility to that report is a new video that shows it's possible to bend an iPhone 6 Plus with your bare hands.

After seeing images of bent iPhone 6 Plus devices, Unbox Therapy noticed that their device had a slight bend in it as well. To confirm the reports, the channel decided to perform the bare hand test you can watch below.

They found it fairly easy to put a significant bend in the device. The weak spot seems to be around the buttons rather than the center of the phone.

Apple has yet to comment on the problem and users trying to get a replacement have had mixed results. If you've purchased the new iPhone, we strongly suggest you use a little more care when carrying it.

Okay, if someone can give me a phone to bend, I can definitely bend it specially if you put the focus of the pressure on a specific corner (rather as a whole in the middle). Sadly it's a fail attempt to pay someone to discredit a company.

Pardon? Not quite... trying to figure out how it "could" bend was the point. The video didn't criticize Apple in any way and actually supported their position that the iPhone6 won't bend significantly with typical use.

Get a case if you're rough with your phone and simply be careful. Lever forces increase when the span of a material increases. It's not made of hardens steel. I'm sure people are sitting on them or just not using common sense. Aluminum bends, doesn't matter who manufactures it.

The point is not that this phone or that phone can bend if you take your hands and try to bend it... The problem with the iPhone plus is its bending in people's pockets... Again my note 3 is in my pocket every day and it has never been deformed or bent. . Lmfao

That's because people have scammed this attempt that it will bend. To me though, I carried around a 6 but no matter what Ido with it, impossible to bend 24/7. LAWLXD

It's funny that you haven't check your own video for having two different time before posting it. I could see that in this video you could rewind time, but I don't see how could that be possible without editing or crapping the video. Just a thought.

IPhone 3GS cracks if sat on, Iphone 4 bends if sat on or use two hands to bend, iPhone 5 bends if you use two hands to bend phone, iphone 6 bends if you use two hands to bends. Galaxy snaps in half if you try to bend it... What's the moral of this story? NOT A EFFING THING LIKE THIS VIDEO!!!

Just update your i6 to new version and see the magic ...lol ------------------------------------------ Awesome service by Crapple. 1) Half Baked i6 Launch 2) Auto (lol) curve i6 3) Mini of iPad mini with Phone facility 6+ 4) last but not least (expected more ) sexy iOS update .... Done all above just to make sure they squeezed all the money from new buyers and let them spend more on either repairing or buying new one ....iSheeps still happy and waiting for new update with useless 1000$ plus crap in hand :)

Personally, i know the fact that Apple doesnt rush with new technology, didnt have that much of problems using it. The few things that bothered me the most were late on LTE(iphone 5), and now the phone bends.. The reasons i tend to go for iphones are apps availability and their customer services. Hopefully they give us a good solution about this bending otherwise im reselling my 6 plus.
