An Apple employee has been shot during a robbery at the Apple Retail Store Clarendon, in Arlington Virginia, according to the Washington Post.
Arlington police say the suspect rang the doorbell at the back service entrance and shot the 25 year old female who opened the door.
The female is in serious but stable condition and her injuries are not considered life threatening.
Customers report hearing what sounded like "boxes falling" in the back storeroom. "An employee went to the back room and then we heard a woman's scream. I didn't wait to find out what happened", said Mike Evans who was in the showroom at the time.
"We are shocked by this senseless act of violence and our thoughts are with this co-worker and her family," said Steve Dowling, a spokesman for Apple. "We're working with police to catch the person who committed this act."
The suspect is described as a black male, between the ages of 35 and 45, with a medium build and facial hair. He was last seen fleeing the area on foot, wearing a light-colored, short sleeve shirt, light-colored long pants and a dark baseball cap. He was carrying a handgun. Security footage of the suspect will be released to aid in his capture.

Either this reporter or the papers need to get their act together bc they are giving out different information on the suspect which could let hinder capturing him: the paper says this
The suspect is described as a black male, between the ages of 35 and 45, with a medium build and facial hair. He was last seen fleeing the area on foot, wearing a light-colored, short sleeve shirt, light-colored long pants and a dark baseball cap
and the reporter says skinny in his 20's with a fake beard. This could be a problem so i hope they get this clarified Pun intended to lighten the mood :0

sorry but everyone DOES NOT have the same opportunities or even equality.
You're way, way off on that one bud.
We do however, have the choice of taking risks with the opportunities that present itself to us
