Apple is reportedly working on a new 12.2-inch iPad Pro which will rival the Microsoft Surface Pro 3, reports Mac Otakara.
A 'reliable source' tells the site that the rather than 12.9-inch screen size previously rumored, the tablet will feature a 12.2-inch LCD.
The thickness of the iPad is apparently designed to be between the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus' thickness. That would put it at 7mm, since the iPhone 6 is 6.9mm thick and the iPhone 6 Plus is 7.1mm thick.
Notably, the iPad may feature speakers at the top and bottom, perhaps for stereo.
Product design concept seems to be based on iPad Air 2, pair of speakers and microphones will be added on top-side not only bottom’s pair. iPad Pro might be capable for supporting stereo audio. Source mentioned about another design of features. iSight, Lightning connector and Touch-ID sensor will not be inlay with diamond-catted hole, but will be placed like as MacBook Air LCD panel.
Previous reports have suggested that Apple has delayed production of the larger tablet to handle the demand for the iPhone 6 Plus. Please follow iClarified on Twitter, Facebook, or RSS for updates.
here I am genius. The only sheep who talks like one to be one is clearly you! We all have our opinions of how we see things but if there is one thing wrong in this conversation it's the defending you and samsheeps here are.
Another copy. Now copying Samsung note pro 12.2. i6 was copy of s5 and i6 plus was copy of Samsung note series phones. iPad mini is a copy of Samsung tab 7 inch. lol. Now who is copying who ? Shame on you Crapple
I don't think Surface Pro is gonna win this with it's backfired, downwittled OS Win 8.1 unless they totally rename their mobile OS separately naming it with the desktop like what they did before with windows mobile 6 7 etc.
Though realistically i'd rather get a netbook/laptop with same dimensions but higher specs and functionality that is lightweight have hdmi, usb 3.0, sdd/hdd, etc.
I wouldn't give my hopes up easily. They were always too late to the party. Not even the wannabe idea of 2-in-1 laptop computer idea got them far at all. They had a chance before the "ads" but totally lost it. What chance do they have now?
They didn't make a retina MacBook Air because pro gets more like power. You neglect fanboy had a perspective of goldfish where you come up with these self claims when you try to compare upcoming products to your vision of things.
Or they wait to make a better version of what others just made then realize they play catch up therby they copy the them aka the realinnovator that is the most top global brand to.
Surface Pro can and does run desktop software, and has multiple ports for expandability. If you get it with enough storage, it can definitely replace a laptop/desktop. If they want to call it an IPad pro, it would need to be able to do the same to compete. Otherwise, call it the iPad plus.
If it was built like either then it can't be 2-in-1. Parts for computer are built into keyboard. That's how laptops are made. Tablets have built in keyboard and have every part built behind the display. Trying to make it into a laptop. How? In fact what purpose does it serve if the only difference you have is a keyboard?
The HTC1 M7 got front facing stereo beats speakers which sound really good, but talking about the Surface Pro 3 it's a complete PC in a tablet 500GB memory USB 3 and other ports but it's expensive $2000.00 and I would I would trade my iPad Air 128GB WiFi/LTE with one any day.
