Twelve South has introduced BaseLift, an ultra-thin, folding pad + stand that goes everywhere your MacBook goes.

BaseLift attaches to the bottom of your MacBook and folds into a wedge, elevating your screen and bringing your keyboard to a much more comfortable typing angle. Folded flat, BaseLift is a soft pad that protects your lap from the heat or cold of your aluminum MacBook.

Features:
BaseLift stays attached to the bottom of your MacBook. Fold the microfiber-layered pad, and your MacBook is elevated and angled so typing is easier on your wrists.

The folding stand also doubles as a comfortable pad that protects your thighs from an icy cold or extra hot MacBook. BaseLift also protects the bottom of your Mac from scratches and nicks. When you decide to remove BaseLift, you’ll find a like-new surface with no residue left behind.

"If you have a MacBook, get a BaseLift," said Andrew Green, Creative Director of Twelve South. "Without a doubt, it's one of the best MacBook accessories we've ever invented. It is so simple and adds so much comfort for just $39, that everyone with a MacBook should have one. When I'm on a MacBook without a BaseLift now, I miss it terribly -- and that's the true test of a great accessory."

Pricing & Availability:
BaseLift ships as a two-piece design that fits any current 11, 13 or 15-inch MacBook Pro or MacBook Air. It attaches with SurfaceGrip Technology and works with nearly any MacBook sleeve or case.

BaseLift is available now at Twelve South for $39.99.
