Apple CEO Tim Cook revealed that the company plans to launch the Apple Watch in additional countries in late June. Currently, the Apple Watch is only available to pre-order in nine countries.
On the company's conference call, Cook indicated that the company had been able to deliver more watches than expected this weekend.
"We were able to deliver more customers an Apple Watch over the weekend than we previously anticipated."
Cook also mentioned that company is figuring out which combinations that customers are demanding and by late June they should be in a position to launch in other countries.
"By sometime in late June we currently anticipate being in a position that we could begin to sell the Apple Watch in additional countries. So that's our current plan."
The earnings call is still ongoing and you can listen in here.
