Apple Adds a Familiar Face to its Get A Mac Ads

Apple has introduced Patrick "David Puddy" Warburton as the top of the line PC in its Get A Mac video ads.

Patrick John Warburton is an American television and voice actor. He is best known for the TV roles of David Puddy on Seinfeld, the title role of The Tick, the evil Johnny Johnson on NewsRadio, and anchorman Jeb Denton on Less Than Perfect. [W]

Ya that is why it took over 3 hours to set up my wife's new PC laptop with enough headaches and pains to cause me to drink!!!!!While my Mac took less then a hour out of the box. Also most PC users like my wife have well equiped virus scans and still her computer gets infected, slow and frustrating as i have to fix it all the time.

I will stick with the mac, it's worth my extra few bucks. So many people act like it's thousands of dollars, it's less headaches for a few more bucks. I never worry about a virus, so what if I open a attachment on a mac, you know what it's a .exe file (so it no affecta me). But I don't try to convert people, if you like the PC stick with the PC, if it gets your work done and you like it (stick with it). For myself I will stick with the mac. So acidbaby calm down, don't let macs make you mad, PC commercials don't make me mad. They may be right about the price but they aren't right about the price you pay down the road. Just remember time is money but with a name like acidbaby it's probable not that much money. Are you sure you weren't tripping when you bought a PC.

Iclarified doesnt allow tabbing or paragraphs dumbass... to anyone else my name has nothing to do with drugs. my only issue is the price gouging of any company not just apple.. apple just happens to be at the top of the list. look at the way they release new software or hardware "esspecially with the iphone" . like they dont already charge us enough money?!?! where is my mms??? oh video whopptyfkndo! 1 little change and we are supposed to jump through our asses to buy it? no thanks. i will just modify the software to do what i want it to.. if i want a faster computer i will change my processor or what ever i need. computers are not made in space they are made by people and people should educate themselves to use them.. if it takes you 3 hours to setup any computer no matter what OS sounds like user error to me.

Umm...I'm sorry but your PC specs is a lie. Unless you either a: robbed a best buy store for the parts and got caught and got bailed for 500 bucks. b: Knew someone in the business you baught the parts from, or C: you're just fuckin' lying. I build PC's for a living, EVERYDAY and I have company discounts for being in partnership with numerous companies that supply TOP OF THE LINE computer parts...and I have yet to get any for that low amount of money. I love PCs, but I would have to disagree with your statement of 500 bucks.

Amd phenom quad core bought off craigslist brand new for 80$, 1tb sata hdd bought from frys 89$, 8gb of memory from frys 88$, Bluray drive also bought at frys for 75$, gigabyte ma78gpm-ud2h with internal HD video card and hdmi connections 120$.... Anyone that shops at bestbuy for computer parts, as you have stated you do, shouldn't be building computers...

Hopefully apple fan boys will someday realize that these scare ads are retarded!! at least the laptop hunter ads are true! apple is way over priced and under equipt, which is the point and a good one.. my htpc is running fully open with fully updated version of windows vista ultimate and i download, surf, torrent, stream movies, facebook, myspace, watch free, email, open documents AND i have no virus on my PC! all i do is keep it updated, i dont have any virus scan that isnt already provided by windows, for free!. my PC runs clean and its faster than any APPLE.. quad core amd phenom 2.7g 8gb ram 1.35tb hhd sata space blu ray player all running on my 46in samsung led.... i biult this system for 500$!!!! but if you look at attributes a sexy look and an OS are not worth the extra 1200 i would pay for my system with apple. its all a way to make people think they need to buy a product.. an apple doesnt do anything i cant do. hell i an even upgrade my own system fully without voiding any warranty what a treat, to be fully in control of what i want geez what a concept!!! and the hacking community has come after apple like they have windows but recently we had a little run in with the iphone!!!! well!!! omg! oh i better get rid of my iphone?? hell no! just fix it and update, if you get hacked or get viruses thats your fault for being lazy.. not the os! there are always holes.. look at the way we can tear down the ihpone OS and do whatever the hell we want with it> now think if all the devteam was working against the OS instead of for it~ Now if APPLE can change the home computing market the way they changed the Smartphone market then im in but im not holding my breath..........
