Spotify iPhone App Approved by Apple

Apple has approved the Spotify iPhone application which allows users to stream music to their handsets.

The application (which will be available free in the App Store) will stream music to premium Spotify customers in the UK and Europe. Currently a subscription to Spotify costs £10 and provides access to millions of songs.

There was speculation that Apple would not approve this application especially since it allows for offline listening to music you have downloaded.
