Microsoft has aired the first ad for Windows 10 which is set to launch on July 29th. It will be a free upgrade for Windows 7 and 8 users.

Right now Apple has Millennials on such a firm lock that Microsoft has been forced to direct their efforts toward a new, untapped market; and what market gets less attention than Generation Z? Why not raise the next generation with Windows? What a great idea.Robert Marcus, Connatix If all goes according to Microsoft’s plan, the demise of Apple’s reign is inevitable (which seems so unrealistic right now, right?). Eventually, once millennials pass their buying power down to their predecessors, their devotion to Apple will become outdated. So, if the next generation of young people prefers Microsoft, Apple is put in a tough position: something they are NOT good at (because they’ve never had to be). I’m very impressed with Microsoft’s efforts; and relieved to see them take a more indirect approach to conquering Apple. Instead of trying to take away Apple’s customers, it’s much more productive for them to establish their own customers from scratch.”

Love my iPhone and I wouldn't trade it. Love my iPad. Mac not so much. I still prefer windows. Even with all its glitches. Apple is the best with phones and windows os still tops.

...So we are over-techie now, that we don't appreciate our roots - we were once babies and I believe we are still human. ..MS platform is best if you feel you still belong to the human race.. Always love an iPhone, with most support from an MS Window environment (sorry to say, even the latest jailbreak was done on Windows 1st). Mac is good, but not the best over-all (business, entertainment (maybe?), production, health, etc.) Hope this new OS live-up to its name (like lucky no Seven (Win7) or maybe a perfect Ten.. Who knows?

Interesting ad... Not sure what their idea is... But after trying it myself, I think Windows 10 is definitely a lot better than Win 8/8.1.

They only show babies who won't be able to afford a Mac. Wow that sucks.
