I've personally taken my apple watch swimming 1 hour, bathe with and it wash my hands with It on.Apple doesn't officialy say its water proof,I beleive to protect their butts, if you find a way to magically damage it in the water...ex salt water, harsh Chemicals, that could dissolve the water resistant resin coating. Mine has functioned the same after all water exposure... Speaker needs time to dry 10 mins later it works like new

this is triple-ridiculous! If ever I will only buy an A-watch once it's waterproof like any other decent watch.

It is already water resistant but not waterproof. Check out in youtube water tests done on the apple watch. The watch survived.
