Robot Perfectly Applies an iPhone Screen Protector [Video]

Watch as a robot perfectly applies a screen protector onto an iPhone with no bubbles. The robot named 'duAro' is made by Kawasaki Robotics and and features dual SCARA arms.

The new "duAro" robot's area of motion is the same as that of a person, with motions similar to those of human arms and independent movements for each arm, made possible because of its dual-arm configuration.

The demonstration was spotted at Pepper World in Tokyo. Pepper is the first humanoid robot capable of recognizing the principal human emotions and adapting his behavior to the mood of his interlocutor. More details on Pepper can be found here.

That looks like tempered glass. It's pretty easy to apply tempered glass without bubbles.
