Apple has officially discontinued the iMac Pro. The Apple Store has dropped all but one configuration for the desktop which is available 'while supplies last'.
The available configuration features a 3.0GHz 10-core Intel Xeon W processor, 32GB 2666MHz ECC memory, 1TB SSD storage, Radeon Pro Vega 56 graphics with 8GB HBM2 memory, and 10Gb Ethernet for $4999.
Apple is widely expected to unveiling new Apple Silicon iMacs this year. It's quite likely they will provide superior performance to the current iMac and iMac Pro. If you really can't wait, it is possible to purchase renewed iMac Pro desktops on Amazon.

Sure, everyone’s likely to pay out $5,000 for an outdated device merely to hold them over for another couple months.
The iPad Pro was always an albatross, aimed exclusively at the major movie studios, even though no one could use it as it doesn’t support their software, leaving only bored studio heads. The silicon iMac will save a lot of problems, though since being released in iterations, the next version is unlikely to sell well.
Apple has everything going for it, except for Apple standing in its way!
