Steve Jobs Says iMac 'Problem is Behind Us'

Steve Jobs has sent another email from his iPhone; this time reporting that the 27inch iMac 'problem is behind us'

According to 9to5Mac, this morning Frode Ersfjord sent Steve Jobs this message:

"When is Apple going to start consistently producing iMac displays without; yellow tinge, grey bars and horrible backlight bleeds?

I'm sick of calling Apple Care. I don't need perfect, just halfway decent."

He got this response from Apple CEO Steve Jobs:

This problem is behind us.

So I guess it's safe to buy a 27inch iMac now...

Hi All, well is bull shit ! i am french & buy this I.mac 27 I7 since his launch couples of months a go ! I receive the first one with a broken screen i receive the second with DD noise... I receive the third one with yellow tint ! & until today i receive 5 new one's more = ALL ARE YELLOW TINT ! I return the last one, since 3 days to Apple.... & i request the money back ! i stop here ( gona waith the B REV ) ! time to Apple to resolve the Probleme cause it's isn't fixed = EVEN IF SJ confirm = it is NOT thrue ! Don't understant how a compagny like Apple permited to get out from them factory's in Shangai the computers with Yellow Tint !! my 10 years Old PC notebook is better than that screen !
