I have an iPhone 3gs not the older bootrom. It is running 5.0.1(9A405) I want to update it to 5.1.1, or restore it back to 5.0.1 but i dont want to go to 6.0 as there is no Untethered Jailbreak yet I will go to 6.0 if i can upgrade then downgrade it. I have the SHSH Blobs from 4.1 to 5.1.1 I usually dont have any problems, ive tried using Tiny Umbrella, changing the Hosts file, ifaith and ireb Just wondering if anyone knows something im missing, or if its even possible with the new 6.0 software. Any help would be appreciated, thank you very much

Thanks for the reply, I actually figured it out.
I saved my SHSH Blobs using TinyUmbrella, then updated to 6.0 Opened redsn0w went to extras and select SHSH Blobs then Stitch. Find the 5.1.1 IPSW open it, then under blob click local and find the 5.1.1 blob you saved from Tiny Umbrella. Then it will create a custom IPSW, open TInyUmbrella then Start TSS Server and open iTunes, Shift+Restore and find the custom IPSW and wait. You might want to put it in DFU mode(iReb helps if you dont know how) when its done its on 5.1.1
Hope it helps someone

Software i used

redsn0w 0.9.14b2
iReb-r5
IPSW 5.1.1 for 3gs
TinyUmbrella 6.00.01
