How do you insert the Check Mark symbol when typing on your Mac?

You can easily type a Check Mark symbol (✓) on Mac by pressing Control-Command-Spacebar on your keyboard to bring up the Character Viewer. Search for 'check mark' then select the symbol to insert it.
Alternatively, you could just copy and paste the Check Mark symbol (✓) from here to insert it into your document.

Place your cursor where you want to insert the check mark.
Press Control + Command + Space to open the Emoji & Symbols viewer.
In the search bar, type "check".
You'll see several check-related symbols like:
✓ (Check Mark)
✔︎ (Heavy Check Mark)
✅ (Check Box with Check)
☑︎ (Ballot Box with Check)
Click the one you want to insert.
