O.k. so I want to activate and hopefully unlock, I was sorta surprised because I did get to the point of that It claimed the process had completed, the phone rebooted and I saw the Pineapple, but then after a couple of minutes it turned into an apple, and that was it.
I guess it's because I can't downgrade from the 6.15 bb?
Any ideas? Would be EXTREMELY grateful!

I would wait for an update to redsn0w that supports evasi0n as otherwise it's a bit complicated.
You can use redsn0w for a tethered jailbreak of iOS 6.0 (only untethered if you have the old bootrom). During that process you can upgrade to the 06.15 iPad baseband which is unlockable. That baseband can cause problems with your GPS so you should then run RedSn0w again to downgrade your baseband to a lower one that can be unlocked by installing ultrasn0w from Cydia.
Because you will likely need to do tethered boots through this whole process it may be easier to wait for an update to redsn0w that brings the evasi0n untethered jailbreak.
