i'm not saying it's _fair_ or _right_ but they don't have a choice (at least until they've finished their network upgrades [such as new york])... if they don't cap the speeds they will have even more angry customers (as some customers will have substantially worse speeds than even the capped speeds as the network runs out of bandwidth). Not to mention the other load of problems that running at full capacity would cause (delayed or missed text messages, completely screwed up visual voicemail, etc.) Additionally, as they roll our their tethering plans, they do not want "bandwidth hogging" going on as people are downloading files and other high-intensive usage that happens more commonly with a computer.

Yes, in columbus ohio the upload speed 63K while the download is 1086K. They already put a consumption limit and bandwidth now. It makes me thing about returning my phone before the 30 days.

Definitely in Denver Metro area this has occurred for me: on Jul 2 Speedtest reported Upload speed of over 500 Kbits/s twice, and Download over 3000 Kbits/sec. Today, Upload speed only 195 Kbits/s, Download 2841 Kbits/s.
