AT&T Developing Voice-Controlled iPhone Apps

AT&T is working on a method for mobile handsets to recognize voice commands without needing specialized software, according to an AppleInsider article.

The research project is based on a new version of AT&T's WATSON speech recognition engine, dubbed Speech Mashups, that puts the entire feature on the web as a service that can be called upon from anywhere a high-speed Internet connection is possible.

Below is a video of a prototype mobile version of the YellowPages website. AT&T shows an iPhone user entering information onto the page just by speaking it at the appropriate times.

he's on ATT and he has terminal????? Must be a jailbroken phone!!!! not confirming, just askin if anyone knows if there is a "legal" way to have terminal on your iphone.
