The iPhone Dev-Team has released a Windows version of QuickPwn for jailbreaking your iPhone and iPod touch.
Supports 2.1 firmware with the unlocking and jailbreaking of iPhone 1st generation (2G) device. Supports the jailbreaking of iPod Touch 1st generation device and iPhone 3G. Does not support the unlocking of iPhone 3G or jailbreaking of second generation (n72ap based) iPod Touch.
after jailbreaked my 3G Iphone. I could not see the "call" on the keypad. I was not able to make call or enter the numbers. if someone knw how to fix the problem please email me thanks!
i updated my iphone to 2.1 via itunes and wanted to jailbreak and unlock..but after the update my iphone was already unlocked... hard to belive? happy day for me :)
Everytime i try to extract the files to launch the app it says it can not open and wants me to send a report to microsoft. Anyone else having a problem with the file.
James: thanks. Everyone assumes that it's obvious that the device should already be running the latest firmware for QuickPwn, but this isn't really obvious at all. Especially given the fact that the "traditional" mechanism for PWNing _doesn't_ require that you have already upgraded. This is an important distinction and one that should be made.
I really need winpwn 3.0 (Whitch will be soon because CMW uses the pwnmedhus and .bundles from quicklwn and pwnage so it should be out) because I love to resize the partion for more apps, restore to a nice suxcesful 2.1 that is jailbroken.
I'm not a big fan of Quickpwn and I would use it, but my iPhone needs a restore and I wanna do it with a clean, pwned iPhone 2.1 firmware.
GREAT JOB THO
KEEP UP GOOD WORK!!!
Hi,
I already use it and the phone is working well whit tho 02 sim card (I have instaler and Cydia now) but I tried to change ito y Vodafone sim card and is not working. What do I need to get unlock features?? My phone is a 2G
Ok I'm really not sure how this is "Quick" as it appears to work differently than any of the earlier updaters... It appears as though it wants you to upgrade to the OEM 2.1 firmware, and then QuickPWN 2.1, and then reload the patched 2.1 firmware? How is that quick? In the past, (WinPWN) I never had to pre-load the next version of the OEM firmware. So, iClarified, please make sure you note and describe these distinctions in your guide (and make quick with it, will ya? :) )
