Etrade Supply has posted a hands-on video comparing the leaked 'iPhone 5' back cover with the iPhone 4.

I believe this is the next iphone design. I believe it wont be called iPhone 5 as this is the 6th gen. I believe they will stick with their "new" naming convention of the iPad and simply call it the "new iPhone". I love the design as it makes sense and takes all the good from the iPhone 4/4S form factor and improves on all the same things ppl complained about. You said the back was made of glass, made it really easy to break. Fixed that. You think the 4/4S is fat compared to SGS3 etc, fixed that. Without a back glass, its not longer a "glass sandwich" and will be thinner. You wanted a bigger screen, with 16:9 type ratio...got it! You complained that rain could fall into headphones jack and others about it being on top and the cord tangling and hanging over the screen, fixed. You wanted it louder, bigger speaker in your face! You didnt like the connector...while no one can confirm yet, but if it is a standard USB interface then....WALA! its perfectly functional (FIT FOR PURPOSE!)...and you know its gonna be 4G LTE using the same iPad chip...so...WHAT IS THE PROBLEM???...they took something good, made it better...No antennaegate...nothing. It don't have to look unbelievably new just cuz it's Apple. I don't see many giving Samsung grief about their SAME looking Galaxy S series, year after year! I'm not a fan boy, but damn it...just give some credit where its due. It may not be the prettiest phone out there, but it will do its job...VERY WELL!

That's the design of the new iPhone. The front glass will be easier to replace because it will slide off just like on the 3GS/3G. The back piece will be metal (not breakable) We are also going to have 3G compatible with all iPhones by the end of 2012
3g really? Oh wow lucky for you. Tmobile Has such great service. Please.... Alittle late don't you think? And their "Worlds fastest 4G network". Give me a break. That goes for At&t too. Can't believe people fall for it. I don't know how many people I've talked to that have at&t or t-mobile and with smug looks on their faces say "I have 4g now do you?" Honestly I could care less. 4G LTE is where it's at. That's all HSPA+ is a slightly faster 3g. 3G+ is what they should've called it. I could imagine how many customers out their have no clue or are completely confused about the difference between 4G LTE and at&t and t-moblies supposed 4G service. Can't believe the board that sets the rules for 4g let them call that HSPA+ 4g. I bet they were paid off. But with these companies it's all about the $$$ and the profits. They could care less about the customers they rip off. That goes for all of them.

Interesting, and it looks fairly legitimate, though I haven't studied the part myself (obviously). I think the guy isn't familiar with antiquated American measurements, as he clearly has no idea how big .5 inches is. 'D I like how they've moved the earphone jack, as I'm always afraid a raindrop will get into the opening and void my $600 iPhone. I also like the bigger speakers and smaller charging port. But I'm also fascinated that everyone gets excited over the damn shape of the enclosure, rather than what the product does. Personally they could put it into a brick shape for all I care, as long as it works and functions well.

Ya know what that is true. Don't get me wrong I love my apple products and always have since the 80's but I'm nowhere near to being as crazy as some of the fanboys out their. Apple could come out with a piece of dog shit with an apple logo on it and call it the iShit. And they'd all be dancing around like little girls waiting in line for days and go out and buy it.
I bet that if this is the next iPhone, which I don't think it is, everyone that said it was ugly, or F that I'm not buying it. Will be dancing around like a little girl saying I can't wait to get it.
And it's funny that people pay more attention to this stuff than the real important shit that's going on in the world that's going to really affect our lives and future. If this is what it's coming too we're in trouble. Trust me.
