The evad3rs have released an official update to evasi0n7 that brings support for jailbreaking the new iOS 7.0.6 firmware.
Apple recently released iOS 7.0.6 and iOS 6.1.6 to fix a major security issue with SSL that allowed an attacker to actively intercept your network connection and freely snoop on you.
Pod2g of the evad3rs said, "One of the worst day for Apple. Today we know that HTTPS haven't protected our credentials and privacy for 1 year, maybe more on OSX and iOS. People on public wifi networks (Sochi?), please just don't use your iOS device if it's not updated to iOS 7.0.6. Don't use your Mac Book."
It is highly recommended that you update to iOS 7.0.6 immediately and then follow these instructions to jailbreak your device with evasi0n7. Please follow iClarified on Twitter, Facebook, or RSS for updates.

4s 7.0.6 all done & running sweet as, 99% of tweaks i use work flawlessly inc. barrel, applock, bytafont2, cameraTweak2 & many many more :) although 1 small network service issue, seems to not have as strong signal & where id get low service, i sometimes get none, but a quick on/off of airplane mode, sorts it right out :)

I am using iOS 7.0.4 and it's already jailbroken, all I have to do is update to 7.0.6? Or do I have to start over, a fresh install of 7.0.6 and then use the new version of jailbreak? Thanks

Barrel doesn't work, Springtomize 3 also doesn't work. Every update has a flaw.

1000s of apple software specialists and thousands of iSheeps to support them and its being jailbroken by few guys. One of the most secured mobile OS in the world. Joke of the century. ROFLX :D

I did a backup and update and when I tried re jail breaking it says iPhone is already jailbroken. Tried several times gets stuck on configuring system. I think u may need to do a restore then update

When restoring from itunes, select the ios 7.0.6 ipsw then activate it, then jailbreak, then restore from back up. It should work

Do you have to restore? First
0
iClarified - February 22, 2014 at 10:35pm
You could backup then update to iOS 7.0.6; however, a backup and restore is recommended.

Not OTA right?

I never OTA. It has been said the updating your iPhone OTA uses more memory up then if you update through iTunes.

If you haven't updated yet to 7.0.6, then make sure you update via iTunes. If you have already updated via OTA, then do a fresh restore of your iPhone via iTunes (re-install 7.0.6)
