Microsoft Touts Cortana Over Siri in New Ad [Video]

Microsoft is touting Cortana, its new personal assistant, over Siri in a new ad entitled, 'Happy Anniversary'.

Say hello to Cortana, your new personal assistant. Cortana will remind you to leave early to beat traffic and help you get to your destination on time, will remind you that you need milk when passing the grocery store, and will remind you to say happy birthday when your mom calls. Available now on the new Nokia Lumia 635 and on other Lumia phones.

Interestingly, while Cortana only runs on Windows Phone at the moment, Microsoft is considering the idea of bringing it to iOS and Android.

Siri sounds like a moron compared to Cortana. I'm switching over to windows. Microsoft rocks...late to the party but sure makes up for it in innovation. isheep can hate all you want. Baa Baa no one cares.

Cortana is another wannabe after three years of Siri, another knockoff in general. I'm staying to the simple and secure side compared to wannabe and cluttered tile tasteless texture less crap. Microscopic brains at shattered glass, who wants to waste the time to put in getting used to the confusing layout, I'm still on 7. Late to the party unprepared like Dill Baits was, that's why Balmer left but makes up for trying to be Siri just to get what has been made before but on a cheaper way. Microscopic brainwashed sheeps can show their jealousy all they want, B-a-a-a-a b-a-a-a-a no one gives a damn.

Like I said about it compared to whoever uses the latest version, it's quite obvious juding by the looks, still the slow catching up unwired shit with bsod written all over it. You feel like you're on your period again with a rash you can't reach, not a homo like cortanass. Cortana is young as a youth and has work compared to someone older than her as a boss even older than a child like you. Siri is a professional boss with agents for protection aka the security with smooth skin compared to a baby.

I hate how siri now uses bing what a bad move from apple. Bing is SHIT go back to google search! No freaking rational person uses bing to search for anything legit. Its like you going to a doctor and the doctor gets his information about your illness from wikipedia! common!

also apple, i know the rest of the world of productive people would agree with me on this. but WE DONT WANT A PHONE THAT WILL TALK TO US. we want a phone that will do exactly what we say! and if it doesn't know then just take a calculated best shot at searching the web for it. Don't say shit like "sorry i dont know that" Me: im not asking about you personally siri, just freakking look it up on the internet!!!! gawwwwwd!!! do I have to say "search google" EVERYTHINGFKINGTIME?!

yes and apple no longer allows you to change the Bing default search. I am stuck with bing unless i say "search google for..." its not hard to say those extra 3 words but why should i even have to? apple you are so rotten to the core because your hate for google bleeds over us!! they people who keep you alive!!

I could jailbreak yea, but man seriously, i love getting updates. and I hate having to go thru all the problems with trying to update a jailbroken phone. Trust me, I am a grandfather in jailbreaking. I've been doing it since the iphone 2G. Just recently I stopped jailbreaking and started following updates for my phone. you know some of my friends who still jailbreak, still have ios 6 on their iphone 4s or 5?! comparing their phones to mines? their phones UI's are ugly as hell! I like the feature to update! Jailbreaking for free apps and tweets seem useless now. I don't find myself ever really needing any of the tweeks nor playing any games. I have come to the enlighten realization that these mobile games are useless and a waste of my time and life! seriously guys stop playing games, I played candy crush until some ungodly high level (i can't remember which level exactly). but one day i decided i was bored and then i realized that i spent 100000 hours getting nowhere

You need security to remove those crashes, for me I don't need jailbreak, my Siri is perfect compared to brunette bore-tana that's three years behine Siri continuing to play catch up, Siri is the real boss because of this. Lumpia isn't that even prepared to be out of the box, more like malware out of this shattered glass offered. Bore-tana is deep than you think in the sewers.
