Dont know what i did but it worked, hope it works for you guys with this same problem too because i feel you on the frustrations. good luck.

When using a virtual machine, disable iTunes to automatically start when connecting an iPhone. You should make sure no other data is exchanged except via Taig application during the jailbreak.

I've tried every version of Taig on 3 different computers, including one Mac with virtual desktop, and I cannot get this jailbreak to work. I even tried on a different iPhone 6 with a completely restored iOS 8.4 and it stops at either 20% or 30%

Have you tried using different lightning cables? How about trying a different USB port on your computer? Also, make sure that you try and use a USB 2.0 port if at all possible. I have ran this jailbreak at least 15 times, with several different devices, and the only time it failed was the VERY first release that the TAIG team released. And I believe that was due to having to downgrade your itunes on your computer, which I did, and then it worked flawlessly! Other than these suggestions, you may want to take your device to a friends computer because there is def a problem if you have tried all of the above ideas...

I currently am using Parallels on the new generation MacBook, so there is only one port. I have tried multiple lightning cables. I also am running a downgraded 12.1 version of iTunes. Jailbreak currently stuck at 30%

I too have tried, time and again, to run this JB with little luck. My first attempt went off without a hitch. I tried again on my iPad (after mistakenly upgrading iTunes, which I then erased and installed the older one), but couldn't jailbreak squat afterwards. This is the FIRST JB I couldn't get to work.
This has been a very frustrating and poorly coded JB! Even worse, the error codes are completely random. Running several different attempts lists several different explanations for why it failed, most of which are completely false.

Dont close the iTunes application when jailbreaking with Taig. Try this, it might help
